Armada engine stalls after fuel filter change

My 2023 Nissan Armada with a gasoline engine has 206796 km on it. The check engine light is on, it stalls at idle, and engine power is reduced. I recently changed the fuel filter and suspect an error entry related to that. Could this be a defective fuel pressure regulator?

I had similar symptoms on my Armada: check engine light, rough idle, and sluggish acceleration. Did you check the fuel pressure sensor after replacing the fuel filter? A faulty sensor can cause those issues.

Thanks for the quick reply. Where is the fuel pressure sensor located, and can I test it without specialized tools? I'm trying to avoid taking it to a mechanic just yet.

On the Armada, it's usually on the fuel rail. Honestly, without proper tools, accurate testing is difficult. Considering the symptoms and your recent fuel filter change, I'd suggest having a workshop check the fuel pressure regulator and sensor. It could save you time and further issues.

I appreciate the advice. I took it to the workshop, and it turned out to be a defective fuel pressure regulator, as suspected, likely triggered by the filter change. The repair cost was 45€, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
