Armada Intermittent Power Issue

I've got a 2004 Nissan Armada with a gasoline engine that's giving me fits. It's only got 62052 km on it. Seems like terminal 30 has a continuous plus that's interrupted, and the vehicle starts poorly. Could this be a heavily discharged or defective battery? I've checked the starter motor and circuit breaker, but no luck so far. Is it the charging system or the ignition switch maybe? Anyone else dealt with this sort of power supply issue?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my Armada. Have you checked the voltage regulator? A faulty one can cause all sorts of weird electrical issues, including intermittent power delivery. What readings are you getting from the battery when the engine is off and when it's running?

Voltage regulator, huh? Interesting. I haven't checked that yet. When the engine's off, the battery reads 12.4V. When it's running, it fluctuates between 13.8V and 14.2V. Does that point to the voltage regulator, or could it still be something else?

Those readings seem okay, but the fluctuation could still indicate a problem. I ended up taking mine to a workshop, and they diagnosed a faulty voltage regulator and a slightly worn starter motor. Cost me around 290€ to fix everything. Better to have it professionally diagnosed to be sure.

Appreciate the insight! Sounds like a trip to the mechanic is in order. I'll let you know what they find. Thanks again!
