Armada MAF Sensor Suspected
Summary of the thread
The conversation centers around a 2005 Nissan Armada experiencing increased fuel consumption, stalling when idling, a check engine light, and smoke during acceleration. These symptoms suggest a potential issue with the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. A similar case was resolved by replacing the MAF sensor, and the current plan is to have the sensor checked and possibly replaced at a repair shop.

Thanks, I checked the air intake and it looks fine. Can you tell me more about what happened with your Armada?

My Armada had the same stalling, rough idle, and check engine light. Since you've checked the intake, it probably is the MAF sensor. I took mine to a shop, and they replaced the sensor.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to take it to a shop to get the MAF sensor checked and replaced if needed. I'm guessing it will cost around 365€.

I had similar issues with my Armada. Higher fuel consumption and stalling were the first signs. Have you checked the air intake for any blockages or damage?
