Thanks! When you say faulty connection, do you mean a loose wire or something more serious? And would that trigger a malfunction indicator even if everything else seems fine?

Yeah, I mean a loose or damaged wire. It's tricky because even a small interruption can cause the whole system to fail and throw an error. Honestly, if you're not comfortable digging into the steering wheel, it's probably best to take it to a workshop.

Appreciate the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on it turned out to be a defective cable connection in the steering wheel. Cost me 95€ to fix. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

I have a Nissan Armada too, though I'm not sure about the year, and I had a similar problem a while back. Could be a faulty connection in the steering wheel itself messing with the control module. It might be a sensor issue too, but check the cable connections first.
