Armada Oxygen Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Nissan Armada is experiencing a check engine light due to an air-fuel ratio problem linked to the oxygen sensor, accompanied by increased fuel consumption. The issue may stem from a defective cable or plug connection to the O2 sensor. It is suggested to first check these connections, but if the error persists, replacing the sensor is likely necessary.

Thanks for the info! The error is constant, appearing immediately after clearing it from the error memory. Did replacing the oxygen sensor fix your problem completely, and did you check the cable or plug connection before?

Yes, replacing the sensor fixed the problem. I would suggest checking the cable or plug connections first, as you suggested in your initial post. However, if the error is permanent, and the sensor is aged, it is likely defective. At this point, I would suggest that you visit a workshop to check out the sensor. I paid around 95€ for the repair including the defective O2 sensor.

Okay, thanks a lot for the advice! I'll double-check the connections like you suggested just to be sure, but it sounds like a new sensor is probably in order. I appreciate you sharing your experience; I'll take it to the shop.

I have a Nissan Armada as well. I had a similar issue with the check engine light and increased fuel consumption some time ago. In my case, the O2 sensor was faulty. By the way, the O2 sensor, or oxygen sensor, measures the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gases to ensure that the engine is burning the right mixture of air and fuel. Is the error message you are receiving an intermittent or a constant one?
