Armada transmission issues

Guys, I'm freaking out. My 2015 Nissan Armada with a gasoline engine is acting possessed. The gear shift indicator is totally dead. Now it won't engage any gear at all. The dashboard display is kaput. The error memory has a whole list of issues and the transmission shifts all over the place. It even makes grinding noises. Any ideas? Mileage is around 70000 km.

Whoa, sounds nasty! I had a similar thing happen with my old 2012 BMW 3 series. The digital display went haywire, and it messed with the whole transmission. Check the fuses first, but it sounds like it could be a control unit thing. What error codes are you seeing?

Yeah, the shop said it was the control unit for the transmission. It was sending weird signals and causing all sorts of chaos. Honestly, after messing with it a bit myself, I just took it to the professionals. Saved myself a bigger headache. You might wanna do the same.

Thanks a bunch! I'm taking it in. They are telling me it probably is the control unit and will be about 1000€ for the repair. At least I know what to expect now!
