Aslan Audio System Failure
Summary of the thread
The audio system in a 2015 Hyundai Aslan was completely non-functional, with no sound output despite attempts to use different inputs. A potential cause suggested was a defective bass speaker, which can disrupt the entire system due to interconnected components. The solution involved isolating and diagnosing the faulty speaker, leading to a successful repair at a workshop.

A defective bass speaker impacting the whole system? How did you figure that out?

Yes, it sounds strange, but in modern audio systems, components are often interconnected in ways that a fault in one area can affect others. In my case, isolating the bass speaker and testing its continuity revealed the problem. Although diagnosing audio system issues can sometimes be tricky, it’s often best left to a qualified technician who can perform a thorough diagnostic check. Consider visiting your workshop.

Thanks for the tip. Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on – defective bass speaker. Repair cost me 280€. Everything’s working fine now.

ASLAN

I had something similar happen with my Aslan. My issue stemmed from a defective bass speaker. It kind of cascaded and took out the entire audio output. Think of it like a short circuit bringing down the whole system. Have you checked your car speakers?
