Aslan brake booster pressure sensor fault
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Hyundai Aslan owner experienced a brake issue where the speedometer displayed a brake error, and the brakes required more force than usual. The problem was linked to a brake booster pressure sensor fault, which appeared after a brake system service. The issue was resolved by replacing the faulty sensor and properly bleeding the brake system, restoring normal brake function.

Yeah, I had the brake lines flushed and refilled about two weeks before this started. The error only showed up after that service. Could that be it? What did you do?

Sounds like what happened to me after a brake service. The workshop said something went wrong when bleeding the brakes. I'd take it back to them. For me, it was the brake booster pressure sensor failing, so they replaced it.

Thanks for sharing. Sounds like the same thing. I went to my mechanic, and the brake booster pressure sensor was faulty, probably from the bleeding. A replacement and bleed cost 90€. Brakes are normal again now!

I had a similar problem with my Aslan, but I didn't check the error memory. The brake pedal felt really hard, and the car took forever to stop. Did you recently get any work done on your brakes or ABS system?
