Yes, I did check the temperature reading using the diagnostic tool. The value appears implausible given the ambient air temperature. Are you suggesting the intake air temperature sensor was indeed the culprit in your case?

Yep, nailed it. The workshop confirmed it right away. The sensor was kaput. Replacing the sensor was the cure. My advice? Get thee to a workshop, posthaste! They'll sort you out. It's a pretty common failure, apparently.

Thank you for the confirmation. I proceeded with the replacement of the intake air temperature sensor. The issue is now resolved. The repair cost amounted to 155€.
