Aslan Outside Temp Sensor Issue

Wiring looks okay at a glance. Where was the problem in your Astra, exactly?

In my Astra, it was indeed a faulty plug connection. It's best to get it properly checked by a workshop. A defective cable can cause considerable consequential damage.

Thanks, I'll do that. It turned out to be a bad plug, just like you said. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted.

I had similar symptoms in my old Opel Astra. The outside temperature was reading way off, and it messed with the climate control. Have you checked the sensor wiring for any damage or corrosion?
