Hey, thanks for your quick reply! Do you remember roughly how much you paid for the repair and whether you've had any more trouble with the same problems since then? Thanks again and have a great time!

Hey, no problem! The cost of the repair was around €100 - they replaced the leaking intake hose and sealed the intake system. Since I've been to the mechanic, my Opel has been running like new again and the previous problems, especially the leak in the intake system, have disappeared. So, don't worry, you'll get it sorted! Until then, go for it!

Wow, that doesn't sound so bad! So I'm going to see a mechanic soon to have my Opel checked out. You've really helped me a lot. Thank you for your information and your time! Well then, take care and see you next time you have a problem!

Hi, I had a similar problem - a vacuum hose had come off...after a short search the problem was solved and my Astra was running again without any problems. Just open the hood and check that everything is in the right place...a marten may also have bitten into something...you can usually recognize this on closer inspection... MfG

Same fault Cause cannot be found. Turbo and vacuum hoses are OK. Mass air flow sensor and intake pressure sensor have been replaced. Under load, but not when stationary, you can hear that it seems to draw or blow out air. If you disconnect the EGR connection, it runs at least 190kmh. I then replaced the entire EGR unit as a test, without success. Independent and Opel workshop find nothing. Does anyone else have any ideas?

It sounds like you've already done a lot of troubleshooting. If the issue persists, it could be a problem with the fuel injectors or the fuel pump. These components can cause similar symptoms when they're not working properly. I'd recommend having these checked next. Please keep us updated on your progress. Do you have any other questions?

Check the wiring and connectors to the mass air flow sensor for any signs of damage or corrosion, as these can cause intermittent issues. If everything looks fine, consider checking for any vacuum leaks in the intake system, as they can also trigger similar symptoms. Let us know how it goes or if you have further questions!

Hey, I once had a similar problem with my 2010 Opel Corsa. It also started to jerk and was quite unstable at idle. In my case, it was actually the intake hose that was leaking. The mechanic had to replace the hose and reseal the system. After that, the car ran like new again. So it wasn't a minor fault, but fortunately nothing that couldn't have been repaired. Above all, the hissing when accelerating and the vibrations when idling were gone. So go to the mechanic and have it checked, it could well be that. Take it easy!
