Astra brake pedal feedback

I'm getting strange feedback from the brake pedal on my 2004 Vauxhall Astra diesel with 47845 km on the clock. I suspect undervoltage is the cause. Has anyone else experienced similar brake system issues?

Brake issues are never fun. I drive an Astra too, although not the same year. I had a comparable experience last year, and was wondering whether you'd looked into your brake calipers. It's a long shot, but that was causing weird feedback for me.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll inspect the calipers more closely. What specifically did you notice with your calipers that led you to believe they were the problem?

Well, I noticed some uneven wear on my disc brakes, plus a bit of a squeal when braking. Took it to a workshop to get it checked out. It wasn't something I could easily fix myself, to be honest.

Appreciate the input. I took it to a mechanic, and you were on the right track. It was related to a caliper issue, likely triggered by the undervoltage I suspected. Total repair cost came to 240€. Thanks again!
