Astra Climate Control Problems

I've visually inspected the sensor, but haven't actually tested the connection. Where exactly is the interior temperature sensor located in the Astra? That would help me check the cable and plug properly.

The sensor is usually located somewhere near the center console, often integrated into the climate control panel itself. You'll likely need to remove some trim to access it. Given the precision of modern climate control systems and the error code you mentioned, my hunch is a proper diagnostic scan is needed. A workshop can pinpoint the fault quickly and accurately. It's likely a cable or plug issue, so you may still get away with a cheap fix, but it's worth confirming.

Thanks for the info. Took it to a local garage and you were spot on - dodgy connection on the sensor. 95€ all in. Appreciate the help!

Sounds like a faulty interior temperature sensor is a strong possibility. The symptoms you describe are classic. Before you start tearing things apart, have you checked the sensor's cable and plug connection? A defective or loose connection is surprisingly common and much easier to fix than replacing the whole sensor. Where exactly have you looked so far in trying to troubleshoot?
