Astra Electric blower motor issue

I'm having a weird issue with my 2023 Vauxhall Astra Electric. The blower motor just isn't working. It's done 130658 km. I think it might be related to the AUC sensor (auto recirculation), but honestly, I'm not sure where to start. Could a faulty climate control or air conditioning sensor cause this? Anyone had a similar experience?

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar problem with my old BMW a while back. The cabin air sensor went bad, and it messed with the whole climate control system. Might be worth checking the cable or plug connection of the component.

Interesting! When you say check the cable or plug, is that something I can easily do myself? I'm not super technical, but I can usually manage basic stuff. Any tips on where to find the AUC sensor?

Honestly, on the BMW, it was a pain to get to. Plus, fiddling with those connections can sometimes make things worse. If you're not comfortable, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. Cost me about 95€ to get fixed.

Thanks so much for the advice! I think I'll take your suggestion and book it in with a mechanic. At least now I have an idea of what they'll be looking at and a rough idea of the cost. I'll let you know how it goes!
