Astra Engine Stalling

I haven't noticed any hissing from the gas cap, no. I'm thinking maybe a clogged hose related to the valve? Is there a way to confirm this before replacing parts?

A clogged hose is quite possible. In my case, it was a faulty pressure sensor causing the valve to malfunction. Honestly, without proper diagnostics, it's tough to pinpoint. I ended up taking mine to a workshop; it saved me a lot of guesswork and potential wasted money on parts.

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably do the same and bring it in. The valve itself plus labor will be around 175€. Better than blindly replacing parts. I will try to ask them to check the hoses as well.

I had a similar issue with my Astra, though it was a few years older. The check engine light and stalling sounds like the purge valve. Have you noticed any hissing sounds when opening the gas cap? It could point to a pressure issue.
