Astra exhaust flap issue

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2023 Vauxhall Astra Hybrid. It's done 149885 km. The exhaust flaps don't seem to be working correctly. I'm getting an error, and the exhaust noise is louder than usual, especially after a cold start. I think it's a defective exhaust flap. Has anyone encountered something similar?

Hey, I've got an Astra too, and that sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms – louder exhaust, especially on cold starts. Did you check the flap actuator? That was my issue.

When you say 'flap actuator,' do you mean the mechanism that physically opens and closes the exhaust flaps? How did you diagnose that as the problem?

Yep, that's the one. I didn't diagnose it myself. I took it to a workshop because I was unsure. They confirmed it was faulty, which saved me a headache.

It was indeed the exhaust flap. Repair cost me 190€. Thanks again for your help!
