Astra fuel flap issue

Having trouble with my 2022 Vauxhall Astra Hybrid. The fuel flap release isn't working. The car says there's a fault, and I can't lock or unlock it. Plus, some other functions are temporarily unavailable. Anyone else seen this?

Astra, eh? Sounds familiar! Could be the fuel door lock actuator? I had a similar issue - the remote wouldn't open the fuel door. Drove me nuts! Was your key fob working?

Yup, key fob was fine for everything else. No error codes that I remember, just plain wouldn't open. Honestly, I messed with it for an hour then took it straight to the workshop. You should probably do the same!

Thanks for the advice. Turns out the linkage was defective, causing the problem. Repair cost was 210€.
