Astra Glow Plug Issue

Hi, I have a 2020 Vauxhall Astra diesel with 45886 km. The preheating lamp doesn't switch off and there's an error stored. Likely cause seems to be a defective glow plug?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Astra (diesel too). Was fuel efficiency impacted? Also, any engine misfire or engine light showing up?

Fuel efficiency seems normal. No engine misfire either. But the engine light is on, yes.

Yup, same here. Engine light plus the glow plug issue. I'd say a trip to the workshop is in order. They'll diagnose the exact glow plug at fault. It's a pretty standard diesel car problem, I wouldn't worry too much.
