Astra Height Control Restricted Warning

I've got a 'Height control restricted' warning in my 2015 Vauxhall Astra gasoline (136248 km on the clock). Low beams are misaligned, and the car sits unevenly. Error code for the height control system too. Could this be a defective control rod on the leveling sensor, causing suspension issues?

Hey, I had something similar happen with my Astra. Is your ride feeling super stiff and bouncy? For me, the car felt like it was fighting me on every little bump, and the headlights were all over the place. It was the leveling system throwing a fit.

The ride is definitely stiff and bouncy, and the headlight issue is exactly what I'm seeing. What specifically caused the problem in your case? Was it also the control rod on the sensor, and where is this leveling sensor located?

Yeah, sounds like the same thing. I'm not super techy, so I just took it to a workshop. They said it was something to do with the leveling sensor and the arm that connects to it. Best bet is to get it checked out, could be a quick fix.

Thanks for sharing. I'll get it inspected, focusing on the leveling sensor and control rod. The estimated repair cost is about 110€, which seems reasonable. Your input helped guide me toward a solution.
