Astra Hybrid Cooling Issue

I'm getting stressed. I have a 2023 Vauxhall Astra hybrid with 203227 km and think I'm having cooling issues. The display shows crazy temperatures, the check engine light is on, and the engine takes ages to warm up. The cooling grille looks restricted. Has this happened to anyone else? Could it be a bad fuse?

I also drive an Astra and had similar symptoms. What do you mean by 'cooling grille restricted'? Is there visible debris, or is the grille not opening/closing as it should? The Astra has active grille shutters to improve aerodynamics. If they're stuck closed, the engine will overheat. Does it happen all the time, or only under certain driving conditions?

Thanks for the quick reply! By 'restricted', I mean the shutters aren't opening, even when the engine is getting hot. How did you fix your Astra, and how much did it cost?

If the shutters are definitely not opening, it's likely a problem with the actuator or control system. I can't say how much I paid, because I live in another country. However, take your Astra to a reputable mechanic. Messing with a hybrid's cooling system can be risky, especially with the high-voltage components.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on about the shutters. It was just a fuse, like I suspected. Cost me 52€ to sort. Appreciate the help!
