Astra hybrid misfires
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Vauxhall Astra hybrid was experiencing combustion misfires, rough engine performance, and reduced power. Initial checks on ignition coils and spark plugs showed no issues, leading to speculation about a faulty fuel pump. However, further investigation revealed a defective injector as the root cause. Replacing the injector resolved the problem, restoring the vehicle's performance.

Interesting, I hadn't thought of the injectors. How did you figure out it was the injector specifically? Was it throwing any particular codes?

Yeah, it was throwing misfire codes, but nothing specific at first. Eventually, the garage scoped it and found one injector wasn't firing properly. Honestly, I'd get it checked out by a pro. Could save you a lot of headache.

Thanks for the tip! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on – defective injector. Replaced it, and it's running like new again. Cost me 515€ all in. Cheers!

Sounds rough. I had similar issues with my Astra, and it turned out to be a dodgy injector. Have you checked those? Rough idle, misfires, loss of power... it all adds up. Could be worth a look.
