Astra Hybrid Suspension Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Vauxhall Astra hybrid is experiencing a 'Suspension Fault' error, with symptoms including the car not lifting, leaning, and a bumpy ride. The issue is suspected to be related to the air suspension, potentially due to a leak or a faulty valve. A defective suspension air bag valve is considered a likely cause, and professional inspection is recommended to prevent further damage.

I haven't heard any hissing, but the error code is just a generic 'Suspension Fault' warning. Could it be something other than a leak, like a faulty valve or something?

Yep, could very well be the valve. If there's no hissing, the airbag itself might be okay, but the valve controlling the air flow is knackered. Given all the symptoms, especially the error code and the car not lifting, a defective suspension air bag valve is highly probable. I'd get it checked by a professional. Continuing to drive it like that could damage other components. Expect around 590€ for the repair.

Thanks for the advice! I'll book it in with a local garage. Sounds like it's beyond my limited DIY skills. Hopefully, it's just the valve and nothing more serious.

Sounds like a classic air suspension failure. I had similar issues on my old Omega years ago. Leaning is a dead giveaway. Have you checked for any hissing sounds near the suspension struts? Did the error message specify anything about the suspension?
