Thanks for the reply. No, I haven't replaced the battery yet. I thought I'd check online first to see if anyone else had a similar experience. The error message is what's making me nervous. Did you replace the battery yourself, or did you need to get a professional to do it?

I tried replacing the battery myself, but it didn't solve the problem in my case. Turned out the key fob itself was faulty. Given that you also have an error message, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get it checked. They can properly diagnose the issue and avoid any further problems.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I changed the battery and it seems that all is working again now as expected. Keyless is working and the error message has gone. Cost me 37€ for the battery.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane, although it didn't show an error in the memory. The keyless entry stopped working, and unlocking the car was a real pain. Have you tried replacing the battery in the key fob?
