Astra mirror heating issue

Hi, I'm having an issue with my 2023 Vauxhall Astra Hybrid. The mirror heating isn't working, and I've got an error stored in the memory. With winter driving coming up, this is definitely a vehicle safety concern. I suspect it might be a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had something similar on my Astra. The heater element seemed fine, but the temperature control wasn't functioning, and it turned out to be an electrical fault. Was the heater element getting power when you tested it? It can be tricky to diagnose.

On mine, it was the plug connection to the mirror heater itself. Definitely worth checking those connections first. Otherwise, I would suggest letting a professional take a look at it. I remember that my local workshop mentioned a repair cost of around 95€. It's better to be safe than sorry with electrical issues.
