Astra Seat Heater Problem

I've got an Astra too, and had a similar seat heater problem last year. Does the error code mention anything about a thermal sensor or open circuit?

The error code seems to point to a fault in the heating element itself, maybe an open circuit like you said. Did you fix it yourself, or did you get help? If you got help, how much did it cost?

My error pointed to a defective heating mat. I had it repaired at a shop because taking the seat out and getting to the element seemed tricky. Didn't want to risk damaging anything. The defective seat heating mat plus installation cost about 390€.
