Astra solar sensor fault

I've got a 2023 Vauxhall Astra (electric engine) with about 55k km on the clock. I'm getting a solar sensor fault. The error is stored, and the heating output seems low. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced this?

Summary of the thread

A 2023 Vauxhall Astra owner reported a solar sensor fault, leading to low heating output, suspecting a defective cable or plug connection. A suggestion was made to consider sensor calibration, but it was advised to consult a qualified technician. The issue was resolved at a local garage, confirming a loose connection as the cause.

Sorry to hear about the heating problems. Is it possible that the sensor requires calibration? This might address the error being stored.

Thanks for the quick response! How would I go about calibrating the solar sensor? Is that something I can do myself, or does it require special equipment?

Given the symptoms and potential for electrical issues, I recommend consulting with a qualified technician. It would be best to go to the workshop, in my opinion.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a local garage and they confirmed it was a loose connection as suspected. They fixed it for 95€. All good now!
