Astra steering wheel controls failure

I've got a 2023 electric Vauxhall Astra with around 170k on the clock. Suddenly the steering wheel controls aren't working. The dash is lighting up with error messages. I scanned it and it says there's an error stored relating to the multifunction steering wheel. Anyone seen this before? Super annoying!

I had something similar happen in my Astra. The steering controls just died. Was anything else acting weird, or just the steering controls?

Just the steering controls, everything else seems fine. Did you ever figure out what caused it?

Yeah, it turned out to be a dodgy cable connection inside the steering wheel. Apparently, it's a common issue. I’d suggest taking it to a workshop; it needs to be checked properly.
