Astra System Readiness Error

I'm having trouble with my 2022 Vauxhall Astra Hybrid. It's got about 59067 km on it, and I'm getting a 'System readiness check incomplete' error, which shows up in the error memory and on the speedometer. I recently used an OBD2 for diagnostics, and I think that's what caused it. Has anyone else had this issue after doing a car diagnostics check?

I had a similar problem with my Peugeot 308. The system readiness wouldn't complete, and I'd also used an OBD2 for diagnostics. Did you try resetting any error codes or clearing the ECU? Maybe there's a hidden error that's preventing the system from going back to normal. How many kilometers did you drive after the check?

That's interesting. I did clear some error codes. Is there a specific drive cycle or procedure I should follow after clearing the codes? Can I do this with my home diagnostics tool, or do I need special equipment?

Clearing the codes is probably the issue. The car needs to run all the diagnostics again, but it can't because the diagnostic tool cleared everything. I tried everything, but I eventually had to take my car to the workshop. They reset the system in 10 minutes. I hope that helps.

Thanks! I took your advice and went to a local workshop. They confirmed that the system readiness flags hadn't been properly reset after my scan. They did a quick computer reset, and everything's back to normal now! It was a simple fix, and they didn't even charge me!
