Thanks! You mentioned a sensor battery. Can I replace them individually, or does the entire sensor need replacing? Trying to figure out the repair cost. Also, what did you do when you had the issue?

I had the same symptoms, and my local workshop said the sensor was faulty and needed replacing. They said it's not possible to only replace the battery and that this is typical. TPMS issues can be tricky, so I'd suggest doing the same.

Thanks for sharing! I took your advice and visited my local mechanic. The sensor battery was indeed the problem. Had to replace the sensor, costing me around 280€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction! I was stressed about this!

I also drive an Astra, though I haven't had that exact issue. It sounds like a faulty tire pressure sensor. Could the sensor battery be the problem? It could also be air pressure or a potential flat.
