Ateca oil pressure warning light issue

I'm getting seriously cheesed off with my 2017 Seat Ateca with a gasoline engine. The oil pressure warning lamp keeps lighting up. I suspect oil contamination because I have exceeded the maintenance interval. Anyone else experienced similar?

That oil pressure light is a worry. Is the oil level correct? What does the oil color look like? Is it milky or sludgy? If it is, that's a sign of oil contamination. Have you checked for any signs of an oil leak?

The oil level is fine, but I'm not sure about the oil color. What exactly should I be looking for? And where would I typically find an oil leak if there was one?

Okay, milky or sludgy oil color points to coolant mixing with the oil, possibly a head gasket issue. An oil leak could be around the oil filter, drain plug, or valve cover gasket. If you're not comfortable checking these things, it's best to get it looked at by someone who knows their stuff.

Appreciate the input. Turns out you were right. Took it to a workshop and they confirmed oil contamination, probably from exceeding the service interval. They changed the oil and oil filter, which seems to have sorted it. Cost me 165€, so not too bad all things considered.
