Hello, you have some really strange symptoms! I had to go through a similar situation with my Audi A3 (2017 model year). As you say, it was a problem with the cable connection to the exterior door handle electronics to the control unit. A cable was then defective. I have a bit of experience with cars, but I'm not a professional or anything. I went to my good old garage and they fixed it for me. It ended up costing me 110 euros. Very annoying, but better than a car that won't unlock or lock, right? To be able to help you more precisely, could you please give me some more information about your vehicle? The exact model designation is the 30 TFSI S tronic S line and it has done 21250km so far without any problems. Has actually always been reliable, until now... Hopefully there's an easy fix for this.
