Hey, thanks for the answer! My A3 has already done 245817 km and the last service was recently. Didn't really want to put any more money into the car, but it looks like I have no other choice. Thanks again for the input, I'll take your advice on board and take the car to the garage.

No problem, glad to hear I was able to be of assistance! Oh man, I can understand your pain - with miles like that, problems of some sort are always going to occur. Nonetheless, it's a reliable car and can last a long time if it's well looked after. So yes, spending some money now could actually save you money in the future. Please report back on how things continue to go at the garage! Good luck buddy!

Thank you for the encouraging words! Your words take away some of my worries. Unfortunately, such repairs are always associated with costs, but you're absolutely right, maybe I can avoid other costs in the future. I will definitely let you know how things go at the garage. Thanks again for your help and tips - I really appreciate it! See you then!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my Audi A1 (2007 model year). Now, I'm not a master mechanic or anything, but I do have a bit of experience with cars. I took my car to a local garage and they diagnosed a leaking intake system. That was exactly what your guess was - the intake volume was incorrect. The repair cost me 425 euros. It wasn't cheap, but afterwards my car ran like new again. Maybe it would be good if you could tell me a bit more about your car, then I can give you more specific advice!
