Hey, that definitely sounds like a similar situation to the one I'm in right now. Of course, safety comes first, I will take the car to the garage immediately. I have one more question, do you happen to remember what you paid for the repair? And have you noticed anything since the sensor change or is the problem now permanently fixed? Many thanks for your help!

Right, safety is always the most important thing! To get the bike running properly again, I paid 260 Tacken to repair the ABS sensor. So it was a bit of an expense, but since the sensor was replaced, everything has been fine, no more signs of problems, really great! The mechanic did a really good job. I hope it works the same for you, keep your chin up!

Sounds good, thanks for the info, 260 Tacken sounds really doable. I'm relieved to hear that you didn't have any further problems afterwards, hopefully I'll have the same experience. I'm off to the garage now and hope my car gets back on the road quickly. Thanks again for your advice, it really helped. See you then and have a safe journey!

It sounds like your ABS sensor is likely malfunctioning. This can cause ABS issues, along with warning lights. If needed, its best to replace the sensor or check wiring/connectors. All the best!

Hello, I drive a 2005 Audi A6 and recently had a similar problem. I also had the ABS light on all the time and the brake pressure regulator was acting up. In the end it was the ABS sensor, just as you suspected. I went to my mechanic, who read out the fault memory - ABS sensor defective. He had to replace it and since then everything has been running smoothly again. It was a serious problem because the car was no longer roadworthy. But as soon as the sensor was replaced, all worries were gone. So, if you ask me, better get it checked by a professional. Drive carefully!
