Hey, thanks for the quick reply! That sounds very similar to my problem. Do you happen to remember what you paid for the sensor replacement and recalibration back then? Has anything else similar come up since then or was that it for you? Thanks again for your help!

Hey, no problem! I can't tell you the exact amount for the sensor replacement and recalibration, but I remember that the repair of the cable connections cost me €155 at the time. Since I've been to the mechanic and had the steering angle sensor defect repaired, I've never had a similar problem again. So far everything is running smoothly, no more shaking on the steering and the ABS is also working perfectly again. Driving has been really more relaxed since then!

Thank you, that helps me a lot! In view of my problem, €155 actually sounds quite fair. I will definitely go to the garage and hope for a relaxed ride without shaking and correct ABS function after the repair. Your information was really helpful! I'm glad your car has been running smoothly since then. Maybe I'll have the same luck. Thanks again for your help!

Hello, I had something similar with my Audi A4 Diesel, model year 2018, except that the ABS light was on and the steering was heavier than usual. I noticed a slight vibration on the steering wheel while driving. I then drove to the garage and the guys there read out the fault memory. It was actually the steering angle sensor. They then replaced the sensor and recalibrated the steering. So if your symptoms are similar to mine, it could also be the sensor. It was annoying and a serious matter - it's also safety-relevant. But I'm glad it went well this time. Good luck!
