Hey, I'm glad that my tip might help you! I also have the 2.0 TDI in the Audi Q2 and had similar symptoms. In my case, it wasn't just the lambda sensor, but also a problem with the EGR valve (exhaust gas recirculation valve). The EGR valve was quite clogged and had to be cleaned or partially replaced. This cost around 450 euros in my workshop, but everything worked perfectly again afterwards. As you still have a warranty, I would advise you to have it checked at the garage as soon as possible. Some problems can otherwise cause even more serious damage if they are not rectified in time. Keep us up to date with your progress! Perhaps your experience will also help others here. Good luck and hopefully a speedy recovery for your Audi! Best regards

Hey, thanks for the additional tip! I will also have the EGR valve checked at the same time. I hope the warranty covers it all, but I'll definitely have it checked at the garage as soon as possible. I don't want to risk causing any more damage. I'll definitely keep you posted on what comes out of it. Maybe it will actually help someone else here too. Many thanks again! Regards

Hey, I had similar problems with my 2017 Audi Q3 (I also have some experience with cars). For me it was one of the lambda sensors that was faulty. I had it repaired at my garage and it cost me 375.00 euros. The symptoms were practically identical: black smoke when accelerating, a strong exhaust smell and the check engine light was on. I advise you to have your lambda sensors checked, it could be the same problem. Which engine variant do you have exactly? Sometimes other parts can also be affected. Send me a few more details and I might be able to help you better. Good luck!
