Audi Q3 Diesel 2017: Experience with low tire pressure wanted

Greetings, I have a small problem with my Audi Q3 Diesel, year of manufacture 2017, with about 63585 kilometers on the odometer. My car indicates that the tire pressure is too low. However, I didn't have a very good experience at my last mechanic visit, so I wanted to ask here first. Have any of you had similar problems and can tell me about your experiences before I go back to the mechanic? I would be delighted if you could share your experiences with me. Thanks in advance!

Hey, I have an Audi A5 Sportback, built in 2015, and had a similar problem. At the last workshop visit, it was discovered that the tire pressure sensors were broken. This was quite serious as it can affect driving safety. They had to replace the sensors, do a tire pressure check and reset the tire pressure monitoring systems. I hope this helps you and I would definitely get your thing checked professionally. All the best!

Hey, thanks for your quick reply. The situation you describe with your Audi A5 sounds very similar to mine. I think I will have to approach it the way you did. Do you happen to remember how much you had to pay for the repair? And have you had any other problems with the pressure sensors or anything else since then? Thank you!

Hey, sure, no problem. I paid around €30 to fix the problem with the tire pressure being too low. Since it was done at the garage, I haven't had any more problems with it. Everything ran like clockwork. I hope it stays that way. So, I can only recommend that you also go to the garage. Better safe than sorry, right? Good luck with that!

Hey, great, thanks for the info! 30 sounds like a reasonable price for fixing the problem. I think I'll go to the garage as soon as possible to fix the problem. Thanks for your help! Hopefully I won't have any more problems after that either. I will keep you informed. Thanks again and take good care of yourself!

Good day! Looking for advice on my 2019 Audi Q5 Diesel with 78,900 km. Recently experienced low tire pressure issues. Has anyone faced similar problems? How did you resolve them, and what was the cause? Any tips or suggestions for maintaining proper tire pressure? Thanks in advance!

Firstly, check the tire pressure manually using a tire pressure gauge to confirm if the warning is accurate. If it is, inflate the tires to the recommended PSI (found in your vehicle's manual or on the driver's side door jamb). If the warning persists, it could be a faulty tire pressure sensor. In this case, it's best to have it checked by a professional mechanic to ensure safety. Regularly checking your tire pressure and keeping them properly inflated can help maintain them.
