Audi Q4 Washer Jets Fail Despite Full Fluid Tank

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have the exact same problem on my Q4 at the moment. The warning light stays on and the spray jets refuse to work no matter how much washer fluid I add. Planning to take it in next week since driving without a working wiper system isnt safe. How much did the washer motor replacement and system flush end up costing you? Also curious if youve had any issues with the spray jets since getting it fixed?

Just wanted to follow up, took my e-tron to the mechanic and got everything sorted. The washer fluid warning is now completely gone after they fixed the fluid level issue. The total repair was surprisingly cheap at only 25 Euro. Turns out the problem in my case was much simpler than the full system repair I described earlier. The wiper fluid reservoir had a minor leak that was causing the low level warnings. Once they sealed it properly and topped up the windshield cleaning fluid, the system started working perfectly again. The spray jets have been functioning flawlessly since the repair. The washer motor and delivery lines were actually fine, just needed to address that sneaky leak that was draining the fluid. Much better outcome than having to replace the entire washer system. Hope your Q4 has a similarly straightforward fix. Definitely worth getting it checked since a working wiper system is essential for safe driving.

Thanks for the input. Finally got my Q4 checked at the shop yesterday. The problem ended up being more extensive than just a leak. They found both a clogged washer fluid line and a defective pump motor causing the spray jets to malfunction. The repair included replacing the windshield washer pump, flushing all the lines, and resetting the dashboard light. Total cost came to 380 Euro for parts and labor. More than I hoped but at least everything works perfectly now. The spray jets are actually working better than when the car was new. Glad I got it fixed before winter weather hits. Having reliable windshield washers definitely makes driving safer. Will make sure to use better quality washer fluid going forward to prevent future clogs in the system.

Had the same problem with my 2019 Audi e-tron last winter. The dashboard light kept indicating low washer fluid despite regular refills. After inspection, the issue turned out to be a faulty washer motor combined with a blocked washer fluid line. The windshield washer system had multiple problems: the pump motor was failing intermittently and debris had accumulated in the fluid lines, preventing proper flow to the spray jets. The washer fluid sensor was working correctly, it was detecting low pressure in the system rather than actually low fluid levels. This was not a major repair but required: Replacement of the windshield washer pump, Complete system flush to clear blocked lines, Cleaning of spray nozzles, Reset of the error code These washer system issues are relatively common in modern vehicles with complex fluid delivery systems. The repair process took about 2 hours at the service center. While not a critical safety concern, getting it fixed promptly prevents potential visibility issues during adverse weather conditions. Recommend having a professional check both the pump and lines since just adding more washer fluid likely wont resolve the underlying problem.
