Hey, thanks for your quick reply! Your experience sounds really similar to my current problem. Do you remember how much the whole thing ended up costing? And have you had any problems with the audio system or software since then? I would be delighted to hear your feedback!

Hey, no problem, you're welcome! So, the repair for the defective bass speaker cost me €280 at the time. It was a bit expensive, but since then the audio system has been running like clockwork again. Since the visit to the workshop, I haven't had any more problems with the system's limited functionality. So, I think it was worth it! Hope this helps you!

Great, thanks for the info! That really helps me. A bit expensive, but if I get my full sound and sat nav back, it's worth it. I'll go to my garage tomorrow and discuss it with them. Thanks again for your advice!

Hi, I had something similar with my 2012 Mercedes E Class. The bass speaker was also defective. However, this paralyzed the entire audio system, including the navigation system. The fault was a software error that had a negative effect on the hardware. That's why the repair wasn't so easy, the guys in the workshop had to repair the software as well as replace the loudspeaker. It was really annoying, but fortunately no major damage or anything. Try discussing it with your garage, they'll probably be able to help you. Good luck!
