Audio system is not working

In my case, the problem with the audio occurred very suddenly. I have not made any changes or modifications to the electronics. So everything is actually quite normal. What exactly was the problem with the cable? Maybe it really is the cable. Hopefully it won't be too expensive.

Thanks for the additional information. In my case, the wiring harness that connects the audio system to the rest of the car had a loose connection. This then affected the audio. It wasn't necessarily a serious fault, but it was annoying and it took a few hours at the garage to fix it. Hope this helps you. Good luck with your troubleshooting and feel free to get in touch if you have any further questions!

Thank you for your support and the detailed explanations. I will pass on your feedback to the workshop tomorrow and hope that they can fix the problem quickly. It's good to know that it might not be a serious fault. Thanks again for your helpfulness and time. Maybe I'll get in touch again if there's anything else to clarify. Until then, take good care of yourself!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2014 Mini Cooper Diesel. I'm not a car mechanic, but I do have some experience with cars. I took the car to my trusted garage and it turned out that the connection cable from the micro was faulty. The repair cost me 250 euros, but after that everything ran like clockwork again!
