Auris climate control failure
Summary of the thread
The climate control panel in a 2016 Toyota Auris hybrid stopped working entirely, with an error indicating low heating output and non-functional air conditioning. The issue was suspected to be related to a fuse or wiring. A similar case revealed that a defective cable or plug connection could cause such a failure. The problem was resolved by replacing a faulty connector in the wiring harness, restoring full functionality to the climate control system.

How did you fix it? When you say 'general failure,' do you mean the whole panel is dead? Because that's exactly it. No lights, no fan, nothing. Does this sound similar?

Yes, the entire panel was dead. In my case, the mechanics indicated that the cable or plug connection of the component was defective. I recommend visiting a workshop to have it checked by a professional.

Thanks so much for the advice! I took it to a local garage, and you were spot on. Turns out it was a faulty connector in the wiring harness. They replaced it, cleared the error codes, and everything's working perfectly now. Cost me 95€ all in, so not too bad. Really appreciate your help!

I had a similar problem with my Auris. Do you know if it is a general failure of the component, or is it just the temperature regulation that doesn't work?
