Auris Tire Pressure Loss and Steering Issues

My 2018 Toyota Auris diesel is throwing up a low tire pressure warning. The ABS lamp is on, the steering wheel vibrates like crazy, and it's suddenly much harder to steer, almost like the power steering has given up. I've checked the tire pressure with my gauge, and one tire keeps losing pressure fast. What gives?

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar problem with my old Renault Megane. Same symptoms – tire pressure light, weird steering. For me, it turned out to be a faulty valve in the tire. Are you losing pressure constantly?

Losing pressure constantly is right! I pumped it up yesterday, and this morning it's almost flat again. A faulty valve, you say? Is that a common thing?

That was my experience, yeah. The valve was leaking like a sieve. It's like trying to keep water in a bucket with a hole! Best to get it checked out by a tire shop. They'll be able to diagnose it properly and replace the valve if needed.

Thanks for the tip! It was indeed the valve. Cost me 280€ to get it sorted, but at least the shaking and warning lights are gone. Appreciate the help!
