Avalon Air Suspension Failure

My 2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid (24992 km) has a problem. The air suspension seems to have failed; it won't lift and is leaning. I'm getting an error message and the ride is bumpy. Error memory suggests a problem with the air suspension bellows valve. Has anyone else seen this?

Summary of the thread

A 2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid experienced air suspension failure, resulting in a leaning vehicle and a bumpy ride. The error message indicated a potential issue with the air suspension bellows valve. It was suggested to check if the compressor was overworking, which could be identified by excessive heat. Ultimately, the problem was confirmed to be a defective bellows valve, which was repaired at a cost of 590€.

Sounds like a leaky bellows valve for sure. Is the compressor running constantly, trying to compensate?

That's a good question. I should check the compressor, but how do I tell if it's overcompensating? What should I look for besides just listening?

Easy way is to just feel the compressor after it's been running a bit. If it's super hot, that's a sign it's working overtime. A shop can confirm, though.

I appreciate the insight. I'll give that info to the repair shop. Turns out the bellows valve was defective and the repairs cost 590€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
