Battery's only a couple of years old, so I wouldn't expect it to be the issue. Where do I even begin checking the alternator? What am I looking for exactly?

Okay, good battery. Yeah, alternator is trickier. If you're not super comfortable with cars, I'd take it to a shop. Undervoltage problems like that can fry stuff!

Thanks for the advice. Turns out it was a heavily discharged battery. I replaced it, and it cost me 290€. Everything seems to be running smoothly now!

Whoa, that sounds rough! Electrical gremlins are the worst. Is your battery old? Maybe get it tested, or check your alternator?
