Avalon engine mount issue

I'm having some trouble with my 2013 Toyota Avalon (gasoline engine). I've got a defective engine mount that's causing some headaches. The car has 105610 km on it. I'm getting an error code and the idling is really uneven. I've checked the obvious stuff, and it seems like a defective cable or plug connection could be the culprit. Anyone else run into this?

I had a similar issue with my Avalon. I'm not sure about the model year, but it sounds familiar. Are you experiencing any unusual vibrations, especially when the car is stationary?

Yeah, the vibrations are pretty bad at idle. Did you end up replacing the whole engine mount, or was it something else? And was it expensive?

Yep, sounds like the engine mount for sure. I had to get mine replaced. Honestly, I'd take it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose the exact issue and make sure it's not something more serious before you start throwing parts at it. I ended up paying around 95€.

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it. I'll get it checked out by a professional. Turns out, you were spot on. They replaced the defective cable and plug connection, and that fixed it. Total cost was 95€, like you said. Cheers!
