Avalon hybrid injection nozzle issue
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Toyota Avalon Hybrid was experiencing poor starting, increased fuel consumption, reduced engine power, uneven idling, and occasional stalling. The suspected cause was a defective or clogged injection nozzle. After consulting with others who had similar issues, it was confirmed that dirty injection nozzles were indeed the problem. Cleaning the entire fuel system resolved the issues, restoring the car's performance.

When you say fuel system, do you mean like a dirty injection valve? Because that's kinda what I was leaning towards. What exactly did you have to do to fix it?

Yes, probably the injection valve! I went to a workshop, they cleaned everything related to the fuel system. I'd recommend doing the same, you probably need someone with the proper tools and knowledge.

Thanks for the insight! I took it to a mechanic, and you were right. Turns out the injection nozzles were indeed very dirty, causing all the problems I described. They cleaned the entire system, and the car is running smoothly again. The whole thing cost me 515€, but it was worth it to get the performance back. Thanks again!

I had something similar with my Avalon. Are you sure it's the injection nozzle? My car experienced rough idling and a drop in performance. Turned out to be related to emissions. Maybe check the fuel system?
