Turn signals are fine. Which connector exactly near the motor? Any tips on getting to it without breaking anything?

Okay, good on the turn signals. It was a faulty plug for me. If I was you, I would get it checked at a workshop.

Appreciate the input! Turns out it was the plug, just like you said. 95€ later and it's fixed.

I had the same issue on my Avalon. Check the wiring harness near the wiper motor. It's a common spot for corrosion. Does it affect your turn signals as well?
