Avancier Coolant Loss
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Honda Avancier with 223,713 km is experiencing coolant loss, causing the check engine light to activate. The issue is suspected to be due to a leak, possibly from the radiator hoses or the water pump. After inspection, a degraded radiator hose was identified as the cause, and replacing it resolved the coolant loss problem.

Thanks for the quick response. Are you suggesting the radiator hoses may be the primary failure point, and did replacing them fix your issue? I was also thinking about the water pump.

In my case, the radiator hoses were the problem. Replacing them resolved the coolant loss and overheating. Given the mileage, the water pump is also possible, but I'd advise having it inspected at a workshop.

I appreciate the confirmation. After a workshop inspection, it was a degraded radiator hose causing a coolant leak. Replacing it and topping up the coolant cost 52€ and fixed the problem. Thanks for your time.

I had a similar issue with my Avancier. Check your radiator hoses for leaks. Low coolant can also mean the engine is overheating, so keep an eye on the temperature gauge. Have you inspected the coolant reservoir or cooling fan?
