Avantime audio system failure

Hey! I also own an Avantime, and I had a similar problem. I know it sounds strange, but did you check the bass speaker? Sometimes a defective bass speaker can cause the entire system to shut down. Does your audio output produce distorted sounds before completely dying?

The bass speaker is usually integrated within one of the main speakers, and unfortunately, without proper equipment, it's tricky to test properly. Given that there was no sound distortion, it may be a different issue. Honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop.

Thanks! I took it to a local car audio specialist, and it turned out to be a defective amplifier that killed the whole system. Repair cost was around 280€. Thanks for your advice!
