Avantime Diesel Injector Issues

Sounds familiar. I have an Avantime with the same engine. I had similar symptoms a while back: rough starts, poor idling, loss of power. It could very well be an injector problem. Have you tried any injector cleaner?

I haven't tried any cleaner yet. I figured if it was really dirty, cleaner might not help. What was your issue and how did you fix it?

Cleaner didn't do much for me either. It turned out to be a defective injector. I had it replaced at a workshop, which sorted the problem. I'd suggest getting it checked out professionally so they can diagnose which injector is the problem.

Thanks! Sounds like I'm heading to the workshop then. They confirmed it was the injector nozzle and quoted me 515€ for the replacement, including labor. Hopefully, that'll solve it!
