Avantime Lights Flickering

Hi, I have a 2002 Renault Avantime with a gasoline engine. My lights are acting up. They switch on and off randomly, and I found an error stored in the error memory. Mileage is 137153 km. I suspect a faulty light switch, maybe a bad connection?

I had a similar issue with my Renault Avantime. Check the cable and plug connections of the light switch first. It could be a defective cable or plug connection. Does your dashboard light flicker too?

Thanks for the tip! Yes, the dashboard lights flicker as well. Where exactly should I be looking for the cable and plug connections? Is it behind the light switch itself, or near the fuse box?

Given that the dashboard lights are also flickering, it's likely the issue is indeed related to a loose or corroded connection. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop, could be that the switch itself is defective. I paid around 95€ for a similar repair.
